about me

Hello, and welcome to lyndsayallison.com

That’s me, I’m Lyndsay and I’m super happy to have you here in this little space that I have been working on for us to come together, to talk and to lean from each other.

Here you will find my blogs, delving into topics like minimalism, mindfulness, dealing with stress, and finding and maintaining an inner balance.

Now what got me here,

I have always prefered writing, wandering, and a solitary life, to social endeavors. And then in my mid twenties, when I started having uncontrolled, unexplained seizures that kept me from safely experiencing the world, and from being a part of society, I spent even more time writing, and silently researching my own answers and ideas about living, wellness, and on how to achieve a state of calmness in the midst of chaos and sadness.

I learned a lot.

For the 10 years that I was unable to experience or create a life outside of my home - I wrote, I survived and I delved into ideas and inspirations that plagued my curiosities and my broken heart.

I learned so much about the true things that could bring me pieces of serenity thorughout my days. And about the delicacy and strength of what makes us who we are.

Now, that I have been treated successfully for my epilepsy, my new life and perspective beckens me to help others to find that calm that we all deserve.

I am an ordinary and imperfect person. And I offer clean, succinct ideas and perspectives that have helped me to deal with simple and complicated issues that can fill our life with confusion, overwhelm, loneliness, and exhaustion.

Throughout my years I have studied and obtained certifications and diplomas in Yoga teaching, Homeopathic Medicine, and in Counselling.

I have also put years of impassioned energy into finding ways to help myself that may help you too.

So, have a look around, and join our community of friends if you are so inclined as well. I am glad you are here.

You are not alone. And together we are stronger, wiser, and kinder.

Welcome to the group my friend, and thak you for being here.
